HEALTH CARE FORUM WITH U.S. REP.

BUCHANAN
HOSTED BY THE USF INSTITUTE FOR PUBLIC POLICY AND LEADERSHIP

Congressman Buchanan invites you to attend a health care forum entitled “Prospects
for Health Care Reform”. The event will be hosted by the University of South Florida
Institute for Public Policy and Leadership at USF’s Sarasota Manatee campus.

Institute for Public Policy and Leadership Director David Klement will moderate the
discussion regarding legislative efforts to increase access to affordable health care.
Congressman Buchanan and representatives of the Sarasota Medical Society, Manatee
Memorial Hospital, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Manatee Chamber of Commerce, and
AARP will participate in the program. The Service Employees International Union
(SEIU) has also been invited to participate.

The health care forum will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday June 15,
2009 in USF Sarasota Manatee’s Selby Auditorium, 8350 N. Tamiami Trial, Sarasota,
Florida.
