    Procedure Fact file Tom Cruise Display OTB and elicit Week 1 lexis. MI4 video clip SS watch the video. O/C discussion. T elicits answers from SS (W questions) Task 1 Match the present simple verb from box A to the past simple form in box B. (cut, jump, climb, stop, search, wear, and fall) Task 2 - Past simple (to describe video clip with screen shots) Use the words from Task 1 to complete the sentences in Simple Past. Task 3 - Order the photos. Number one has been done for you. (Watch video again if necessary) Task 4 - Cut out the pictures and glue them in order. Retell the story in pairs.

    Task 5 - Use the template to create a story board of a scene from any movie. SS act out the scene and the other students in the class have to guess what movie its from. SS select someone of interest to them (e.g. celebrity, family member). They must create a personal fact file (see lead-in) for this person. Then SS create a timeline (using Past Simple) to retell life events of the selected person.
