The new generation D-type separators open up new dimensions for modern shipping. With improved separation efficiency, less fresh water consumption, extended servicing intervals and reduced weight the D-type separators fulfill all the demands made on separators for ships which are growing in size constantly and quickly. The flat belt drive instead of a gear unit makes for simpler maintenance with a 30 % reduction in components, less susceptibility to vibrations, low noise levels, less weight and a better priceperformance ratio.
