    County continues to contract out work to employers who pay their workers low wages. In

    1999, the Board of Supervisors established a Living Wage standard, but it has only been increased ONCE in the past 14 years! Meanwhile thousands of County workers also receive wages that are insufficient to support a household without qualifying for public assistance! Its time to lift and expand the Living Wage, and raise standards for ALL Los Angeles County workers.
