PROBLEMS OF AGRICULTURE SECTOR IN INDIA (socio economic implication)

INTRODUCTION:India is largely an agricultural country. About 65% of its total population is dependent on agriculture for employment and livelihood. So, we can say that agriculture is the dominant sector of Indian economy which determines the growth and sustainability. But to say that India lives by agriculture, does not mean that India is agriculturally advanced. Rather it is extremely backward, because of various problems faced by farmers which results its annual yield of crops per acre is lamentably below what it ought to be.

AIMS & OBJECTIVE:The researchers aim for making this project is to find out all the problems of agriculture sector and through a light on the difficulties facing by farmers of India.

HYPOTHESIS:The researcher hypothesizes that:1. The topic of my project problems of agriculture sector in India is a very major problem of India and instead of getting diminished it is maximizing day by day. 2. This problem is not only for the farmers, it is the problem of whole India because all Indians are directly or indirectly dependent on agriculture. 3. Many farmers are committing suicide and some are leaving agriculture by getting annoyed and roaming for another work or job.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:For the purpose of research, the researcher has done doctrinal as well as non doctrinal research DOCTRINAL: - The doctrinal methods of my project refer to various books on agriculture and its problems. Various facts were also taken from Newspapers and Magazines. NON DOCTRINAL: - This is done by taking: 1. Interview of farmers and their views 2. Sources from the internet. 3. Opinion from Agricultural officers.

TENTATIVE CHAPTERIZATION:1. Agriculture sector: An overview (This chapter deals with the introduction of agriculture.) 2. Development of agriculture (In this chapter we will discuss that how agriculture developed.) 3. Problems of farmers in agriculture (In this chapter we will discuss the various problems of farmers in the field of agriculture.)
