WIA Youth Employment Program SLO & South County

September 4th: Want to Ace Your Classes? Workshop School just started, this is a good time to get into good habits. This workshop will provide tips on how to be the best student you can be. September 11th,12th, 25th & 26th : WIA Orientations (by invitation only) These orientations are an introduction to the WIA Youth Employment Program offered at our Grover Beach and San Luis Obispo locations. The program provides one-on-one tutoring and job coaching to help build your job skills. Paid work experiences are also offered through this program. September 12th: Grover Beach Universal Orientation The Grover Beach Youth One-Stop has many resources to help you in your job search. At this orientation, youll get an overview of whats available to you and the various programs for which you may qualify. Its a great time to ask any questions you may have about our resources or about your job search. September23rd: Balancing Life & School Workshop Do you feel like you have a lot on your plate? Having trouble completing all the tasks on your to-do list? Sometimes we do not realize how much time is wasted waiting. Come to this workshop to get tips on how to do all that you need to do and also squeeze in some fun time.
