SAPSASA DISTRICT SPORTS DAY:

SAPSASA District Sports Day is the day when all athletes go to compete against other schools and try to win the shield and flag. The shield and flag is now ours once again. It was fantastic weather and a fantastic day. The events were shot put, long jump, high jump, discus, 200m, 100m, 800m and relay. Congratulations to all team members. Congratulations also to those who made it into State Day at Santos and thank you to everyone who made this day possible. A special thank you to Mr. King and Mr. Best for organising this day for us, to all students who helped marshal this event, and of course big congratulations to all the students that participated in this day. - Crystal Diebert and Hannah Gapps

Hiragana Competition
Well done to the 19 year 7 students who participated in the Hiragana Challenge last Wednesday. Although we just missed out on getting through to the finals, I was incredibly proud of your enthusiasm, your knowledge of the Hiragana alphabet and how well you represented WPS.
