My strategies to Develop Caring Attitudes in Classroom Management There are many strategies that can be used by teacher to develop

caring attitudes in classroom. Some of the strategies can be used are as follow: 1. First of all, teacher should know their students name and remember it well. This is the first trick to let the students know that we are actually interested to know them by showing our effort to memorize their name and call them often. 2. Give an equal attention to all students. Some students that sit at the back of the class may feel neglected when teacher only interact with the students who sit infront. So, to avoid this matter teacher can move around and communicate with the students at the back as well. 3. Giving students an opportunity and space to voice out their opinions and ideas when discussing some matter in class. If student give a good idea, teacher can use that idea and share it to the class. Students will feel they are appreciated and supported by teacher in this way. 4. Understand students when they have difficulties to digest the lesson given to them. Teacher should show their perseverance and willingness to help, guide and monitor their students to understand the lesson well without looking down upon them. 5. Teacher should learn to be a good listener and not only a good speaker. Our students come from a different background and they also have their own problem (academically or emotionally). As a caring teacher, we should listen to our students who are willing to share their problems with us. In this case, we can give professional and logical advices and opinion to them regarding their problems. 6. Do not be judgmental to our student even if they are naughty, slow leaner and lazy to do their work. People do change, so do the students. So, teacher needs to believe that one day, they will change to be a good and better person.
