The Burnham Greenway is a joint project between the Cook County Forest Preserve, the Chicago Park District,

the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the Calumet Memorial Park District, to become part of the Illinois Grand Trail. Currently, the bike path is 2.5 miles long, beginning at State Street in the North and running South to 170th St. in Lansing. Please enjoy the Burnham Greenway this summer! Special Recreation Services (SRS) is a collaborative effort by the New Hope Center, the Calumet Memorial, Dolton and lvanhoe Park Districts, the Thornton Recreation Department, and the South Holland Department of Parks & Recreation. This cooperative offers programs for children and adults with disabilities. Programs are offered on their own, while some are in conjunction with regular park programs. Payment plans are available.
