The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Burglary which occurred on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 8:45 P.M. in Lynbrook. According to detectives, a female victim, 58, observed a male black, 5 8 tall with a thin build get off a bicycle in front of her Lois Place home. He walked up the front steps and forced the door open, entering the house. Once inside he grabbed the victim in an inappropriate manner over her jeans, and then attempted to remove her pants, before choking her. The victim was able to call out for help, getting the attention of a neighbor, who called police. The suspect fled westbound on his bicycle on Lois Place then northbound towards Merrick Road. Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
