    A 30-year-old female was assaulted while walking in Valley Stream, New York on August 12, 2013 at 9:05 PM. According to detectives, an unknown male on a bicycle grabbed the victim from behind, pushed her to the ground, and punched her in the face before attempting to rip her shirt off and pin her down. The victim was able to fight off the suspect, who then fled on his bicycle. She suffered scrapes and cuts and was treated at a local hospital.
