    Overview of the topic :

    Steganography is the art of hiding information in ways that prevent the detection of
    hidden information. While cryptography scrambles messages so that they cannot be
    understood. Steganography hides messages so that they cannot be seen.

    Uses of Steganography:

    1. Used to combine explanatory information with an image (like doctor's notes


    accompanying an X-ray).
    2. Embedding corrective audio or image data in case corrosion occurs from a poor
    connection or transmission.
    3. Peer-to-peer private communications.
    4. Posting secret communications on the Web to avoid transmission.
    5. Copyright protection.
    6. Maintaining anonymity.
    7. Hiding data on the network in case of a breach.
