INTRODUCTION
Hundreds of tons of domestic wastes are generated daily by households contributing to the enormous environmental problems the world is facing. It affects our health, socio-economic conditions, coastal and marine environment and climate. Disposing garbage properly is the primary step involved in helping ecosystem. It is interesting to see how human behavior is affecting their own locality. Does every individual feel the need of protecting ecosystem and does every follow the minimum ethics of hygiene?

INTRODUCTION
By this survey we would like to explore the attitudes of people towards garbage disposal in urban areas. Aspects - Characteristics, Trends, Issues and challenges. By analyzing these aspects of the survey, we can take up the required initiatives to clean our environment. Contribution of this survey can help government to formulate new regulations in disposal systems, implement programs on individual front by motivating people to do their own duty towards society.
