    Abstract : This research is to describe factor with is influence maternal death in country society environment. The research location is in Gresik and Bangkalan district with using qualitatif research method.<br>The result show that the maternal death usually come from economic social background which is not good enough, such us low income, low education level, and unhealthty environment. Beside, this mother are still young. It's under 25 years old, and most of them living together in one house with their parents or parents in law.<br>From the result, conclude a few factor which it's connection and influence maternal death, for the example: pregnancy check up to the traditional midwife, a place of pregnancy help at home, not to produce extra food and drinks, to produce traditional medicine, how low the knowledge of antenatal care right medically way, unhealthty condition such as anemia, narrow hip, tetanus, poisoned and health care condition such as medical equipment and provider which are not good enough.
