A Decade of progress

Between 2000-2010:

GDP trebled from less than US$ 0.5t to US$ 1.3t. Per Capita GDP rose 2.5x from US$ 427 to US$ 1058 Clocked a real GDP CAGR of 7.2%

Service sector grew from 49% of GDP to 57% of GDP


Growth was largely financed with savings rate increasing from 24% to 34% Merchandise trade (Imports+Exports) as a percentage of GDP nearly doubled from 22% to 40% Forex reserves expanded 7 times to US$ 280bn
