Dont forget to read 15 minutes each night!

Tuesday
3 Practice Read-to-Self with your parents. Use the I-Chart for guidance. Your child should read for 5 minutes independently. 10 *Students, write 3 things you like about first grade. Be sure to talk with your parents about these things.

Wednesday
4 *Complete Math homework 15-16 and 29-30 Be sure that your child writes the numbers correctly. 11 Find ways to measure your family members in creative ways (ex. Measure with shoes, books, magazines). Be sure you watch for the starting and ending points. 18 *Look at the classroom rules together. Draw a picture of someone following the rule and write why it is an important rule at school. 25 *Choose 2 objects. Measure them with 3 different units of measure (ex. toothpicks, pennies, paper clips) 5

Thursday
Open House at 6:00 pm No homework so your parents are free to come to open house. Please come! 12 *Complete Act It Out. Use the ants to solve the problem. Can you solve the problems on Are There Enough?.
