BIKES STOLEN

DERBY BMX CLUB BREAK-IN Monday 9th September

Sometime between evening Sunday 8th and 6.00am Monday 9th the 3 containers located beside the Alvaston Park BMX track were broken into. The culprits used angle grinders and drills to get access to 2 of the 3 units and managed to get away with a large number of the clubs hire fleet and helmets as well as a PA system. 2 suspects were seen on the cycle path leading to Harvey Road with 5 bikes but when challenged dropped the bikes and legged it. If anyone was in the area at this time and seen anything or knows where the bikes might be located please contact PC Andrea Thompson, Cotton Lane Station quote -

The club is run by volunteers in support of the local community and the only people suffering because of this are the local kids. A full list of the bikes & helmets stolen and what they look like is provided below. If anyone tries to sell you any of these items please note they are stolen!!
