ICES PTO Exercise for Education CAMP LEARN-A-LOT

Dear Parents/Guardian, ICES PTO Exercise for Education officially kicked off today. Students were introduced to this year's theme; "Camp Learn-A-Lot". Every student recieved a sponsorship envelope and this letter detailing fund raising efforts and schedule for the day of the walk. Exercise for Educations, "Camp Learn-A-Lot" is the PTO's main fundraiser! 100% of the funds go directly back into your childs school. This fund is needed for field trips, Student Appreciation Days, Grandparents Night, Spring Dance and the Carnival. It will also pay for the needed gasoline for busses and their drivers during field trips. Exercise for Education involves your child asking family and friends for sponsorships for a one-day walking event. We do not want children going door-to-door and asking people they do not know for donations.

If donations exceed $12,000 the entire school will go on a Special Trip!!! If a grade level reaches their individual goal alone they will go.
Exercise for Education walk will be on Friday, October 4, 2013. We will be taking the children to Indian Creek High School via buses according to the following schedule: 2nd Grade, Kindergarten Spencer, Ellis, and K Smith 9:00 AM Departure and a 10:30 AM Return. 1st Grade, Hurford, Burkett, Eaton and Heaston: 1:00 PM Departure and a 2:30 PM Return. Enclosed with your packet is an incentive from our fundraising partner, Trafalgar McDonalds. This card will also be good at the Franklin McDonalds by Hwy 65. See below the support increments and the attached SAMPLE to this letter. Please collect all money from sponsors and return them to your child's teacher by September 27, 2013. Make checks out to ICES PTO. We will be giving away Complimentary Drink Cards valid September 30, 2013 September 28, 2014. This is our way of saying Thank You! We only have a limited number of cards to distribute, so return those donations as soon as
