Try to look over the decades looking at the changes in codes and conventions, representations, genres, audiences and narratives. TASK: Complete a piece of research looking at the history of music magazines. Look at a variety of music magazines. Look at similarities and differences specifically and discuss how they may have changed over the years. QUESTIONS TO THINK ABOUT: When did music magazines come into circulation? What was the first music magazine? How many music magazines are now in circulation? Which music magazine has been around the longest? How has the introduction of computers and the internet changed music magazine circulation? How have music magazines changed over time?
