The average rainfall over watershed was 144,45 mm/24 hours.

3. Comment The Thiessen Polygon method is practical and easy to used, specially in engineering problem. Polygon can be plotted by hand or with computer software (such as ARCMap) for more acurate result, where any point in a watershed (catchment area) is assumes has the same record to the rearest station (rain gauge position).

1 | Module A

Isohyetal method need a constructed map from the station by interpolating countour lines between the station. It is required more station for better result and patient to construct a representative map of the watershed.

Based on the result, author had choosen the first method as the easiet way to calculate the average rainfall. There is a different result between thoses 2 (two) methods, probably there were limited number of station to construct the isohyetal map and also more practising.
