Here are the four most important formulas for you to remember.

Major: = Home + 4 + 3 Major 7th: = Home + 4 +3 + 3 Minor: = Home + 3 + 4 Minor 7th: = Home + 3 + 4 + 3
Remember that to change a Major or Minor chord to a 7th. just add 3. Print and Keep this by your keyboard.
