1. Understand that some characteristics are passed on from parents to young,


while some characteristics are not.
2. Understand that hereditary characteristics can be passed down from either the
father or the mother.

Get ready the following

• My Pals Are Here Activity Book pages 4 to 6.

Instruction

• You will be learning about how a family tree can show the relationships in a
family.
• First, study the family tree diagram on page 4 of your activity book to
understand the relationships between the different people in the tree.

Assignment

• Complete Activity 1.2.


• Instead of drawing the family tree on page 5, use Microsoft PowerPoint to
