OBJECTIVE:
Develop a magnetic model of sensor and predict the voltage induced in the secondary windings based on following parameters. 1) Core position. 2) Dimensions 3) Material properties

II. DELIVERABLES:
Magnetic model 2D Simulation results for the model developed.

III. SIMULATION METHOD & STRATEGY:


sensor is modeled in Ansoft-Maxwell 2D. Suitable approximations have been taken for modeling. At first sensor T would be modeled in 2D and later it would be modeled in 3D for saving simulation time. In Ansoft Maxwell the 2D transient solver enables us to analyze the magnetic field, energy, force, speed and flux of a model at various time steps of a solution over a specified period of time. This solver allows for non-sinusoidal current or voltage excitation as well as rotational or translational motion. By doing co-simulation the voltage induced at the primary of secondary of the coil would be predicted.
