DEFINATION:
Homophones are words that sound alike but with different meanings and spellings.
EXAMPLE:
1. piece/peace: There will be no peace in this house if someone ate the last piece of Dad's birthday cake. 2. ate/eight: The kid ate eight pancakes! 3. flee/flea: Why didn't the dog flee when the flea came its way? 4. one/won: He won one medal at the track meet. 5. meet/meat: I have yet to meet someone who doesn't eat meat.
HOMONYM
DEFINATION:
Homonym is a word which has same spelling and same pronunciation but a different means meaning.
EXAMPLE:
1. Adder Who adds Common viper 2. Advert-to refer to Short for advertisement 3. Back-opposite to the front To support 4. Bail-security, guarantee Empty a boat of water 5. Band- a transverse strip,strap To fasten with a band
