    Nonsense Words
    Skills Review Nonsense words do not have meanings. Nonsense words help with letter/sound knowledge.

    DECODING
    To mark nonsense words: 1. Mark the nonsense words with an asterisk (*) at the beginning of the word. 2. Mark the vowels with an x underneath.

    A. Draw an asterisk (*) before the word. Then mark the vowel with an x. Example: *dag X

    A. Circle the nonsense words.
