Hobin, Principal One Goal September 12, 2013 Dear Parent/Guardian: On behalf of the faculty and staff of Coventry High School, I would like to invite you to attend our Open House on Thursday, September 26, 2013. We encourage you to join us and learn about the interesting and challenging classes and activities that your son/daughter is engaged in at the high school. You will have an opportunity to converse and interact with faculty regarding the variety of programs and experiences that are available to Coventry students. Parents, who have not already done so, can register for our email distribution list. Parents will follow their son/daughters schedule and receive a brief overview of each teachers expectations relative to their students and their classes. The program will begin in the auditorium at 6:30 p.m. with a brief welcome and introductions. Then parents will follow their childs schedule beginning with period 1. The program will conclude at approximately 8:30 p.m. A template is included with this letter for you to have your son/daughter complete. This should guide you through our evening program. Family Conferences on November 21st will serve as your vehicle to inquire about your students specific progress in his or her classes. Should you have an immediate need to ask about your students progress, please make arrangements with individual teachers or your childs school counselor. We certainly welcome this interaction and encourage your involvement. We continue to improve our schools web page. It is our goal to keep current with events and educational activities. Throughout the school year, we intend to use pictures, videos and other graphics to publicize our school events. We are sensitive to the fact that some parents may not want their childs picture on the web. If this is the case, please inform me in writing by Thursday, September 26, 2013. I would ask that your child bring me this letter so that I may ensure their picture is not displayed. We look forward to seeing you on the 26th. Sincerely,
