Games
The learner get involved in the games ( student centred) The games will involve competition and observance of the rules The game must have the objective of improving the students skills. Example like pronunciation skills

SNAP GAMES
Technique :games Activity : snap games Focus : vowels and diphthongs Year : standard two

Set induction
The teacher write down some of the vowels and diphthongs which have been learned before The teacher then ask the student to pronounce the vowels and diphthongs corretly The games will start after that

Players 5 players
Deck It will have 60 cards of different phonemic alphabet Goal To match the vowel with its pairs.

Setup Choose a dealer randomly. The dealer shuffles the cards and deals them as evenly as possible to all of the players. Each player places his cards, face down, in a pile in front of him.

Gameplay
1. The player to the left of the dealer goes first. The player turn moves clockwise. 2. On first player turn, the player turns over the top card from the face-down pile of the deck. 3. The next player will take the turn to turn up the face-down deck

4. When someone turns over a card that matches a card already face up on another player's pile, players race to be the first to call "Snap!". 5. The player who calls "Snap!" first then need to pronounce the vowel correctly 6. If the player pronounce it correctly , he or she will become the winner 7. But if the player make a wrong pronunciation the next player will take the turn until there are the winner
