An investigation led police to the defendant, Jack Roach, who was taken into custody without incident at his residence on September 20, 2013.     The Crimes Against Property Squad reports an arrest that occurred on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. for Promoting Sexual Performance of a Child. According to detectives, AOL notified authorities in May 2013 that an email account that originated in Farmingdale was used to send child pornography of a female juvenile engaged in sexual activity. The investigation led detectives to the defendant Jack Roach, 19 of 107 Court N. Drive, Melville. The defendant was taken in to custody on Friday, September 20, 2013 at his residence without incident. Roach is charged with two counts of Promoting Sexual Performance of a Child.
