Industrial Waste Management and Control

A. Generation rate We are seven in the family and each member consumes 0.5 kg /cap-day. B. Location Our location is located at Riverside Quezon City. C. Type Of House We own our house in Quezon City and it is a bungalow type. D. Storage Inside the house we store first the left-over like leafy vegetables, styro or the cans inside the garbage bin on the kitchen. Then, we store our garbage in a two socks one is for the biodegradable and the other one is for the non- biodegradable. The sack are place at the side of our house so that when the collector of garbage come we can easily pick the sacks and then we can easily disposed. E. Frequency of the collection The collection of our garbage in our community is two times a week that is every Monday and Friday. For Monday they will collect all the non-biodegradable and Friday they will collect the biodegradable garbage. The collector truck of the garbage is the Quezon City Environmental Protection and Waste Management Department (EPWD). F. Route of waste After the collection of waste in our community and other communities Quezon City it will be sent to the last route which is Payatas dumpsite.
