9. Trainers Qualification: (a) Academic Qualification :- 10th class pass or equivalent. (b) Technical Qualification : Degree in appropriate branch of engineering from recognized University OR Three year Diploma in appropriate branch of engineering from recognized Board / Institution. In case of two units, one trainer must be Degree in Engineering. (c) Passed National Craft Instructor Training course in same or relevant trade. (d) Experience : Two years for Degree holder and Five years for Diploma holder and NCIT as an Instructor.

Construction of different types of scales& their uses, scale R.F. Definition of development & its need in industry. Different methods of surface development. 02 General principles of dimensioning on engineering drawing. ALLIED TRADE: OVERVIEW SHEET METAL WORKER Names and description of common equipments. Different types and uses of joint employed in sheet metal work. Familiarisation with arc welding and gas welding, welding torch, electrodes, ALLIED TRADE: OVERVIEW filler wires, tools used in the trade. WELDER (G & E) Different types of welding and welding joints and symbols as per BIS. Surface and edge preparation required for welding. PRACTICAL RELATED THEORY Introduction to computer. Introduction to CAD, graphical area setting (drawing setting), familiarisation about different co-ordinate system, and commands (use of different menus and different tool bar). Preparation of 2D drawing using Auto-CAD commands. Editing of drawing using different options under modify menu. Creating dimensions of drawing with the help of dimension menu tool bar. Elements of production drawing. Interchangeability - its terms as per IS and applications. Limits, fits, tolerances (including geometrical), allowance, deviation. Method of indicating surface texture on technical drawing. Types of geometrical & dimensional tolerance. tolerance in hole basis and shaft basis system. Terminology for surface roughness system & selection of fit. Transmission of power by belt, gear, pulleys, chain and couplings. Calculation for gear data for spar, helical, bevel gears, and worm & worm wheel. Symbolic representation of welds on structural work. Engineering Inspection & inspection techniques. Calculation of least count and measurement practice using micrometer, vernier calliper, and bevel protector. Difference between Conventional & CNC machining system. Working principles of CNC machines. ALLIED TRADE: OVERVIEW FITTER: Description and application of simple hand tools, cutting tools and measuring instruments etc. PRACTICAL Practice of detailed & assembly drawings of the components of different machine and machine parts.
