Knowing God

September 22 - September 28, 2013

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source.

We can know God.

Father God, Thank you for loving us so much. Help my family and friends to know your love this week. Thank you for teaching me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. Forgive me when I make wrong choices. Help me to tell others about Your great love! Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen

In the Bible, we read about how Jesus wanted to know children. Sometimes when Jesus would teach, the children would come to Him and listen. One time the disciples tried to keep the children from coming to Jesus. They thought He was too busy for them. But Jesus told his disciples to let the children come. He loved and blessed them. Children are very important to Jesus - that means you! Mark 10:13-16

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
