Outside Reading Mrs.

Ross English II
Students will read a piece/pieces of literature of their choosing. All reading will take place outside of class in addition to what required reading I have selected for class. The piece/pieces that students choose for their reading must be approved by you for content and by me for genre/grade level. I will not allow two students to read the same book in the same class, so it is first come, first serve! Students are responsible for choosing what to read and obtaining that piece of literature. (Page requirements below). If students read a book that has a movie made about it, students will receive of the pages. For example, if there are 300 pages, the student will only receive credit for 150 pages. Parents/guardians must approve of the reading choice or students will not receive credit. Students must sign up with me once they have chosen their reading material and have received permission from parents/guardians. Students will be asked to complete an assignment on their outside reading (options list to follow).

The exact due date for the outside reading is Friday, December 6, 2013.
