ABSTRACT: The Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) technology for power production emits fewer pollutants than

conventional coal fired power plants (SCPC) fitted with add-on controls. IGCC power systems also emit dramatically less greenhouse gas (CO2) and can be designed to accommodate CO2 sequestration at retrofit costs far below the retrofit costs that face conventional coal-fired power systems. This paper attempt to show that by burning of coal and biomass material to produce the syngas once the syngas is produced the first process is to remove the Sulphur & remaining one is react with water to produce the H 2 and CO2. The CO2 is used as fluid in geothermal plant to generate electricity & H2 is used as fuel in fuel cell. Remaining syngas is used in gas turbine to generate electricity; later steam is used to produce electricity. Thus in this process the removal of CO2 is also used as fluid in geothermal plant and H2 gas is used in fuel cell also electricity is produced from gas turbine and steam turbine i.e. by using single input we can produce four times electricity and other by-products. KEYWORDS: power generation, minimization of green house effect & production of by-products, Feedstock flexibility I.INTRODUCTION This paper attempts to show that the production of electricity in four times i.e. by using CO2, H2 gas, gas turbine & steam turbine with minimization of green house effect because CO2 is removed from the syngas and it is used as circulating media in geothermal plant for generation of electricity instead of water.
