    EDITING

    Throughout the opening of Insidious we see different methods of editing. One method that has been used is Spacial Editing.This has been used to establish shots at the beginning of a sequence to explain important elements of setting.A second type of editing they used is Montage sequeneces. Which consist of a series of short shots that are edited into a sequence to condense narrative,and to build the thematics.
