    mn September 24, 2013 Statement from Senator Michelle Benson (R-Ham Lake) on MNsure Oversight Committee Hearing The MNsure Oversight Committee met today to address the issues concerning the recent privacy breach and Senator Michelle Benson offered the following response:

    (St. Paul, MN) - We learned today from MNsure officials that brokers, counties, and navigators have yet to be fully trained in MNsure security policies a week before launch. MNsure was also unable to commit at this point if private information used in initial enrollment will be protected for thousands of Minnesotans. Republicans will continue to demand accountability from MNsure until we can be sure that Minnesota families will have the peace of mind to know their privacy is protected. Clearly, the program is not ready for primetime.
