HARDWARE IMPLEMENTATION:

Output from 555 timer

Output from JK flipflop

Output across load

RESULTS OBTAINED:
The output obtained across the resistor is an AC voltage waveform with a magnitude of 30V i.e., +15V and -15V. A capacitor is connected in parallel to the resistor in order to reduce the distortions.

DIFFICULTIES ENCOUNTERED:
IR2110 was not easy to work with as it had to be handled carefully while supplying Vcc. DC bus had to be supplied a voltage of 160 volts which led to the damage of ICs 555 timer had to be worked with care as it is prone to damage easily. To protect the ICs , control circuit and power circuit were isolated from each other .

SCOPE FOR FUTURE WORK:

The output pulses from the inverter can be used to drive variety of loads. In case of loads like Induction Motor , the speed can be controlled by varying the pulses of 555 timer i.e. Frequency control is possible.
