Constellation Project

Aquila, the Eagle Have you ever heard the name Aquila? Well, Aquila was the pet eagle of Zeus, and he did many great tasks for Zeus and some tasks that were not so great. One day, Promethesis took one of the rays of the sun. Of course, Zeus did not think that Promethesis should have such a wonderful gift so Zeus sent Aquila out to go and capture Promethesis and lock him up. Therefore, Aquila obeyed Zeus, went, and attacked Promethesis. Promethesis was immortal which means he could not be killed so Promethesis was trapped for what he thought was forever, and then finally Hercules came and rescued Promethesis. After Promethesis had been rescued, he set out to find Aquila. After he found Aquila, he killed him. Aquila was not immortal like Promethesis so Aquila died. Aquila had been a good bird to Zeus so next time you look up into the sky and see an eagle remember Aquila and how great of an eagle he was.
