People who are vegetarians or avoid eating meats may experience riboflavin deficiency as they might have trouble getting enough in their daily diet. Cracked and red lips, inflammation of the inner mouth, mouth ulcers, cracks at corners of mouth, sore throat, bloodshot, itchy, watery eyes, and hypersensitivity to light, dry scaling skin. Deficiency is very uncommon around the world.
More commonly found in found in women taking contraceptives, the elderly, people with chronic diseases, diabetes, and eating disorders.
