    Erysipelas

    This is an acute contact infectious skin disease displaying a fresh red skin lesion.

    Treatment:

    Foot massage: Either the parathyroid gland (13), adrenal gland (21), kidney (22) and
    urinary bladder (24) reflecting areas, or the lymph nodes on upper body and in
    abdomen or chest (39, 40 or 41) reflecting areas may be selected for massage
    depending on the location of the skin lesions (Fig. 100).

    Foot acupuncture:
    Foot acupoint: A strong stimulation is applied at Lung (FA-P 6) acupoint and the
    needle is retained for 20 minutes.
