Limiting Factor

Effects on Population

Carrying Capacity when the limiting factor is high (test ONE at a time for this) -The carrying capacity will be lower than normal when pollution is very heavy.

Pollution

-The pollution in an area can have a negative effect on a population because it is not good for the fish. -The disease that fish can catch and spread is not only bad but can be fatal. -Predators are an obvious problem for a population that is trying to grow. If the fish keep getting killed then there will be no more fish. -This is the only positive in these variables for the fish to grow. If there is more food, then the population will grow significantly.

Disease

-The carrying capacity when disease is higher will be significantly lower. -There was no carrying capacity when the predation was high because they all got eaten.

Predators

Food

-The carrying capacity would be higher than normal if there was an abundance of food.
