Rodriguez was arrested after receiving a package containing approximately two kilos of cocaine wrapped in cigars. Rodriguez was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree. He will be arraigned on September 27.

    INCIDENT: Arrest/Narcotics DATE/TIME: September 26, 2013, 1800 LOCATION: Locust Valley ITEM: 05

    The Narcotics/Vice Squad reports the arrest of a Bethpage man for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance that occurred on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 6:00p.m.in Locust Valley. According to detectives, a joint investigation was conducted by Nassau County Narcotics/Vice Squad, New York City Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Agency, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the U.S. Postal Service resulting in the arrest of Ariel Rodriguez, 31 of 241 Broadway. While working at Forest Grocery, 384 Forest Avenue Rodriguez received a package of cigars containing approximately two kilos of cocaine wrapped inside. After signing for the package the defendant was placed under arrest without incident. Rodriguez Substance 1st is charged and with Criminal Sale of of a a Controlled Controlled degree Criminal Possession

    Substance 1st degree. He will be arraigned on Friday, September 27, 2013 at First District Court in Hempstead. Details by:NVB 09/27/13/0045/7363
