Synopsis on the topic: CONFLICTS OF JURISDICTION IN MAKING CUSTODY ORDER FOR CROSS-BORDER CHILDREN: SEARCH FOR A UNIFORM RULE

In the Article we have discussed the conflict of jurisdiction of the courts in the matters of child custody which is involving the cross border situations. Various perspectives and bases of jurisdiction including from the standpoint of the state practice of Bangladesh to matters relation the recognition and enforcement of foreign court orders relating to child custody are addressed. Main objective of the study was to plead for Best interest of the child as the basis for harmonizing different systems relating to a child custody.
