    Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

    I am requesting funding for Child Safety and Adoption Initiative in fiscal year 2010.

    The entity to receive funding for this project is:


    Forever Family, Inc.
    24 SE 9th Avenue
    Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301

    The funding would be used for expanding Forever Family's recruitment and awareness efforts
    throughout the state. Expanding these efforts will have a dramatic effect on reducing crime,
    alcohol and drug abuse, and homelessness among this targeted population of youth,
    particularly those transitioning out of the foster care system. Funding will also be used for
    emergency resources and special media projects. .
