Dear Chairman Mollohan and Raruang Member Wolf:

I am requesting funding for the Teen Court program in fiscal year 2010. The entity to
receive funding under the Department of Justice, Juvenile Justice and Delinquency
Prevention account is the Philadelphia Teen Court, located at 6022 N. 16 th Street,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19141. The funding would be used to provide services to the
School District of Philadelphia focusing on schools identified by the PA Department of
Education as persistently dangerous. The program will provide balanced and restorative
justice for youth. Youth will receive age appropriate sanctions by a jury of their peers,
receive life skills and conflict resolution training. Participants will learn the effects of
their criminal or delinquent behavior on themselves, others and society.

I certify that neither I nor my spouse has any financial interest in this proj ect.

Member of Congress
