    Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

    I am requesting funding for the Oakland County Sheriff's Department Biometric


    Identification Enhancement Project in fiscal year 2010. The entity to receive funding for
    this project is the Oakland County Sheriffs Office, located at 1201 N. Telegraph Road, Pontiac,
    Michigan, 48341. The funding would be used for upgrading Oakland County's CLEMIS CAPFIS
    palm print system, streamlining LiveID technology to patrol vehicles, and purchasing portable
    biometric identification devices.

    I certify that I have no financial interest in this project.
