I am forwarding a request for funding for Civic Justice Corps m the FY 2010
Commerce, Justice, Science and Related AgenCies ApproprIations bill. These funds will
be used to broaden the hOrIzons of the selected youth by allowmg them to explore the
myrIad natural treasures m Maryland State Parks, while helping to preserve those same
Parks. The entity to receive funding for thiS project IS the State of Maryland, Department
of Juvenile Services (DJS) located at One Center Plaza, 120 W. Fayette Street, Baltimore,
MD 21201. I certify that neither I nor my spouse has any financial interest in the project.
