    Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

    I am requesting funding for equipment for the Orange County SherifFs Department in the
    fiscal year 2010 Commerce, Justice, Science Appropriations bill. The entity to receive
    funding for this project is the Orange County Sherriff's Department, located at 11 VT
    RTE 11 3, Chelsea, VT 05038. The fund ing wou ld be used to purchase an Automated
    Fingerprint Identification Systems CArIS) Fingerprint Machine, in car mobile video
    recorder systems, Mobile Data Tenninals, Base Station radio/console, portable and
    mobile radios, and security cameras. I certify neither my wife Margaret Cheney nor I
    have financial interest in this project.
