Dear Chainnan Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

I am requesting funding for Workforce Development for Ex-Offenders in Fiscal Year 2010. The
entity to receive funding for this project is the Episcopal Community Services of Maryland,
located at 1014 West 36th Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21211. The funding would be used for a
program on employment readiness, job placement and retention for ex-offenders. This project
contributes to Baltimore's economy, safer communities, and reduces recidivism.

I certify that neither I nor my spouse has any financial interest in this project.

Sincerely,

t.//-
