    Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

    I am requesting funding for After School Gang and Drug Prevention Program in fiscal year 2010.

    The entity to receive funding for this project is:


    City of Miami Beach, Florida
    1700 Convention Center Drive
    Miami Beach, Florida 33139

    The funding would be used for the application of this program, which, when offered to them,
    has shown that youth are less likely to entertain outside and detrimental participation in other
    unsupervised activities, such as involvement in gangs and/or drugs.

    I certify that neither I nor my spouse has any financial interest in this project.
