St Clare was born on July 16,1194
and she died on august 11,
Clare was a  beautiful Italian noblewoman who became the 
1253(age 59)
Foundress of an order of nuns now called poor Clare.

   
• St Clare  ran away from home and her sister 
soon joined her.

   
 St Clares prayer
God of merey,you inspired saint Clare with 
the love of poverty.By thee help of her 
prayers,may we follow Christ in poverty of 
spirit and come to the joyful vision of your 
glory in the kingdom of heaven.We ask this 
through our lord Jesus Christ,your son,who 
lives and reigns with you and the holy 
spirit,one god,forever and ever.Amen.
   
 A prayer to St Clare for healing
• O Bless saint Clare, your life shines like a 
beacon casts its light down the age  of the 
church to guide the way to Christ.Look with 
compassion on the poor and humble who 
call on you for help .As you bow before 
your Eucharistic lord in heaven,speck to 
him of my afflicted body and my broken  
spirit.Ask him to heal me and wash away 
my sins in his precious blood.  Amen
